Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's a singer/actress from the USA. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents within the industry of entertainment at a young age. In 1992, she went to her first audition, and was able to win a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent prior to her turning thirteen, and she was cast in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. Bell also began taking private acting classes at that time. Bell played an uncredited part in Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the role of the lead Dorothy part. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her graduation. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell made an appearance together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
